The strong bond that joins women together, besides pregnancy and motherhood, is our love of shopping. Admit it, it's true. I have never met a woman who does not love to shop.
We are told that men are hunters and women are gatherers. Men focus on one objective with the result being a personal achievement. Women have the keen ability to focus on many objectives at one time with the end result also being success! Thus shopping becomes an excellent exercise in our innate human capabilities.
We, too, also love the "hunt"! You may catch us any day in our favorite store "gathering" a pile of our favorite "goodies". But we are never more satisfied then when we find that one perfect deal that we were "hunting" for! That is where we'll be most proud!
Lately it seems everyone is trying to save money. This coupon collecting craze has taken on new meaning for grocery shoppers. I believe that saving is integral to spending. And personally, if you don't have the skills necessary to finding those good deals you probably shouldn't be shopping!
