I found this stately piece sitting in a corner of a resale shop! Yes it's true! On the ground! It caught the corner of my eye, I reached down and picked it up and knew it was a find just by the shear weight of the peace. With further inspection I knew I had to have it.

Without even checking the retail price on my iPhone, which is my usual habit in order to verify it's worth, I immediately took it to the cashier and eagerly paid the $9.99 tag price. The retail price is $129.99! That is over 92% in savings!

With a little research I found that this is a replica of a 1890's design using Michael Redlinger's American patent. This piece stood for wealth and luxury at the turn of the century.

I can cork and re-cork wine bottles with grace and ease with this gorgeous Roger Estate Wine Opener. This cast aluminum beauty, complete with rich antique bronze finish, is designed with ornate detail of grape clusters and leaves. The word "ESTATE" is carved boldly on the side.

This beauty draws any wine lover right into its beauty and detail. You know from first glance that this is more than a special conversation starter. You want to hold a wine-tasting party just to show it off to your friends!

This piece has only a couple of scratches on the hardwood base, which actually adds to the "aged" look and does not distract from it's beauty. The "Champion Cork Removal System" is in perfect working condition.

This is to date one of my favorite finds! It was one of those unexpected "rushes" you feel when you know you have found a gem and if you didn't take it to the register immediately it would be gone in a flash!

The strong bond that joins women together, besides pregnancy and motherhood, is our love of shopping. Admit it, it's true. I have never met a woman who does not love to shop.

We are told that men are hunters and women are gatherers. Men focus on one objective with the result being a personal achievement. Women have the keen ability to focus on many objectives at one time with the end result also being success! Thus shopping becomes an excellent exercise in our innate human capabilities.

We, too, also love the "hunt"! You may catch us any day in our favorite store "gathering" a pile of our favorite "goodies". But we are never more satisfied then when we find that one perfect deal that we were "hunting" for! That is where we'll be most proud!

Lately it seems everyone is trying to save money. This coupon collecting craze has taken on new meaning for grocery shoppers. I believe that saving is integral to spending. And personally, if you don't have the skills necessary to finding those good deals you probably shouldn't be shopping!
